IC 1795 is an emission nebula located about 6,000 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia . It covers a field of about 20 arc minutes (approximately 70 light-years). Near the Perseus double cluster and nebula Heart,
at about 6000 light years from us, this complex extends through the Perseus arm of our Galaxy, the Milky Way. It is easy to see and is located in a rich environment with IC1805 and IC1848, and many open clusters. .
